We naturally try to reduce our carbon emission with various changes in our operation such as energy-saving light bulbs.
We cultivate most of the spices and vegetables used in the kitchen in own garden. Our guests can enjoy their meals knowing that ingredients are fresh from nature and in bio-quality untreated by chemical products.
We also aim to reduce the water consumption by implementing measures according.
On the cultural side; our entertainment is local talents from the neighboring villages.We not only provide employment for people from the island but we offer local produced souvenirs in our gift shop.
Mourouk Ebony Hotel also supports various cultural and environmental projects in Rodrigues and Mauritius through its membership of AHRIM (Association of Hotels and Restaurants in Mauritius).
